Welcome to our Toad Hall, where the sheets are clean but the jokes may not be! Our house rules include no smoking in doors, no pets (but pet lovers are more than welcome), and absolutely no under 13 year old children. We want to keep our guests safe from baby spit-up and toddler tantrums. So come on in, grab a drink, and enjoy the luxury of not being a parent for a few nights!

On your room key is a remote that will access the main parking entrance. Use the blue button to open the main gate.

In the event of urgent assistance being required after hours, please ring the doorbell situated in Toad’s Terrace.

Our complimentary breakfast is served in Toad’s Terrace dining area from 08h00 until 09h30. Should you require an earlier start to your day, please let us know the night before.

A complimentary beverage tray consisting of a kettle, tea bags, coffee, & milk is provided in your room. Complimentary tea & coffee is available in Toad’s Terrace in addition to an “Honesty Bar” where you can find soda drinks & bottled mineral water. Unfortunately, we are not licenced to sell alcohol, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own tipple of choice.

The DSTV Hospitality package is available in your room (except in Hedgehog’s Hollow and Weasel Way). All TV sets are ‘Smart Enabled’ allowing internet channel viewing access. Toad’s Terrace offers TV (Full DSTV Bouquet), books & games.

In the event of load-shedding or power failures we do have a backup power supply to enable lighting, plugs & wifi. Please refrain from using your kettle during load-shedding.
F I R S T-A I D K I T
We have a fully stocked First-Aid Box available on the premises in the unfortunate event that you should require it.
F I R E
In the event of a fire, raise the alarm by pressing the brown button on your remote control. Please attempt to close windows and doors and exit the room immediately. Assembly point is in the parking area. All public areas & each guest room is equipped with a fire extinguisher.
H O U S E K E E P I N G
Should you require additional linen, towels, blankets, etc. then contact reception.
I N T E R N E T
Each room has access to our WiFi. WiFi is also available in Toad’s Terrace. Contact reception to get the password, or ask on arrival.
L A U N D R Y
Unfortunately, we are not equipped to do guest’s laundry. There is however a laundry service in Darling – Darling Laundry Co – 064 805 1328.

Toad’s Terrace is available to all guest’s & offers TV, books & games.

Use of the swimming pool & facilities is strictly at your own risk. The owners of the premises accept no responsibility or liability for any injury or death of any person using these premises or facilities.

Should you have small items or documents that you would like to deposit (at your own risk) in our safe please let us know.

Our Gift Shop, Heart of Darling, is situated at 19a Main Road (next to Marmalade Cat) and has a wide selection of gifts, jewellery, fashion accessories & the gorgeous Charlotte Rhys products that you find in your room.
As a Toad Hall guest, you qualify for a 10% discount on purchases at Heart of Darling.
It is also home to DML Classics that offer an extensive collection of pre-owned classical, opera & musical CDs.
